Dr. Rodger’s Bio
Trey Rodgers, Veterinary Express’ Chief-of-Staff, knew when he was very young that he wanted to work with animals. While growing up, his family always had pets that they cared for and loved very much. By the time he was 16 he had already made quite a name for himself as an animal caregiver by working for a veterinarian in the small town of Eden, North Carolina. One day, Trey witnessed a routine dog surgery and from then on he knew he was destined to become an animal doctor.
Trey has been practicing Veterinary Medicine for over 14 years. Since graduating from the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990, Dr. Rodgers has acquired vast experience in practicing veterinary medicine, including complex surgeries. He has also actively participated in other aspects of Veterinary Medicine, including “The Guiding Eyes for the Blind” guide dog program, and also has treated North Carolina wildlife while collaborating with wildlife rehabilitators. He also cared for many different birds-of-prey for the North Carolina Falconer’s Guild. In addition to providing his veterinary services to common household pets, Trey is also skilled in treating sick or injured reptiles, exotics, and other non-traditional pets.
Dr. Rodgers is committed to providing quality and affordable health care for all of your family’s pets and we at Veterinary Express guarantee your satisfaction. We look forward to being your pet’s health care provider!
